Gummy Bear Science

Welcome back!  We had a great first day of class.  We reviewed the scientific method with the gummy bear lab.  We conducted 2 experiments.  The first experiment was whether or not gummy bears sink or swim when dropped into a glass of water.  The predicitions/hypothesis were mixed but the results were clear.  The second experiment was to see what happens to a gummy bear's volume if soaked in water overnight (grow or shrink?).

Next week, we will wrap up the lab and begin the next unit on cells.
